Dental Savings Plan

At Northborough Family Dental, we understand that high-quality dental care can be out of reach for many people. We believe that financial concerns should never be an obstacle to receiving quality dentistry for you and your family. To offset the costs of care, we have developed an In-Office Dental Savings Plan that protects your entire family.

Benefits of Membership Plan

The plan requires an annual membership fee starting at $300 for an individual plan. Membership in the program includes essential treatments like exams, teeth cleanings, and x-rays at no additional cost to you. You will also receive a 15% discount on general and major dental procedures. Also, children receive free fluoride treatments every six months as needed.

There is no waiting period, no prior authorizations, no claims to fill out, and no cards to carry, and one low initial fee benefits everyone in the entire family for an entire year!

CareCredit

CareCredit interest-free financing is an excellent financial option for getting the care you need when you need it. You can't always anticipate dental expenses, and that's where CareCredit comes in. It works like a credit card for dental treatment and other healthcare and wellness needs.

The plan allows you to fit these costs into your budget by making small monthly payments over a period of 6, 12, or 18 months. When you sign up for CareCredit, you choose the payback period that works for you! As long as you make all your payments within the agreed period, you will not have to pay any interest.

You can also use CareCredit for vision care, dermatology, and even veterinary expenses. It's easy to sign up for the program online at CareCredit.com, and approval usually takes just a few minutes!

Other Forms of Payment

We are pleased to accept cash and personal checks as well as Visa, MasterCard, and American Express credit and debit cards.

In-House Financing

If you are faced with an unexpected dental expense and need a little time to pay it off, we are pleased to offer short-term in-house financing of up to three months with no interest. Please let a member of our front desk team know if you are interested in this option!

Frequently Asked Questions

It’s great that you are brushing conscientiously, but brushing twice a day alone is not enough to prevent cavities. The bristles of a toothbrush can remove a lot of the plaque from the surface of your teeth, but they can’t get between your teeth to clean properly. Unfortunately, this is the area that many people neglect during their daily oral hygiene routine.

Proper Dental Flossing

Flossing once a day must be a part of your oral hygiene routine if you want a healthy smile. When you floss properly, you are removing the plaque and food particles that accumulate between teeth and cause decay if they are allowed to remain on the teeth.

The best way to know that you are brushing and flossing adequately is to ask your dental hygienist at your next dental cleaning. They can tell you what problem areas you need to improve and demonstrate proper techniques. Flossing isn’t complicated, but there are certain things to be aware of, and you need to be thorough or you may be wasting your effort.

Importance of Oral Hygiene

Immediately after a dental cleaning is a great time to get your oral hygiene routine on track. You are starting with a “clean slate,” and you will be able to see how much healthier your mouth is at your next six-month checkup! But even if you are currently between checkups, there's never a "wrong" time to get serious about your oral hygiene!
